Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Valorous Web LLC ("Valorous," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit valorous-agency.vercel.app (the "Site") or communicate with us.

We are a founder-led web and digital systems company, and we keep our data practices as limited and transparent as our work. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Who We Are

Valorous Web LLC is a founder-led web and digital systems company. This policy applies to the Site and to the communications you have with us by email, through our scheduling tool, or through our AI assistant. If you have questions at any time, you can reach us at valoroussupport@gmail.com.

2. Information We Collect

We collect two kinds of information:

Information you give us directly. When you book a free consultation through our scheduling tool, email us, or use our contact form, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, the service you are interested in, your budget range, and any details you choose to share about your project or business.

Information from the AI assistant. When you use our chat assistant ("Valorous AI"), we receive the messages you type so the assistant can respond. Please do not enter sensitive personal information — such as passwords, payment-card numbers, or government identifiers — into the chat.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting and analytics providers automatically collect limited technical information when you visit — such as your approximate location (country or region, derived from your IP address, not precise GPS), your device and browser type, the pages you view, the website that referred you, and basic performance metrics. This helps us understand traffic and improve the Site.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell your data to advertisers.

We use your browser's local storage for functional preferences only — for example, to remember your light or dark theme choice and whether you have dismissed our promotional banner. That information stays in your browser and is not used to identify you. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

Our analytics tools (Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights) are designed to be cookieless and privacy-respecting, measuring aggregate usage and performance rather than tracking individuals across the web.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries, schedule and hold consultations, and prepare quotes or proposals;
  • Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Site and the AI assistant;
  • Understand how the Site is used, in aggregate, so we can improve its content, performance, and security;
  • Communicate with you about your request or a project;
  • Protect the Site against fraud, abuse, and security threats, and comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

5. The AI Assistant

Our chat assistant is powered by a third-party AI provider (OpenRouter), which routes your request to an underlying large-language-model provider. When you send a message, that message and the recent conversation context are transmitted to the provider so it can generate a response.

We keep brief, truncated logs of chat conversations in our server logs to monitor quality, fix problems, and improve the assistant. Conversations are tied to a short, randomly generated session identifier — not to your name or an account.

The assistant can be wrong. Its responses are general information only — not professional, legal, or financial advice, and not a binding quote or offer. Please confirm anything important with us directly, and do not share confidential or sensitive information in the chat.

6. How We Share Information

We share information only with the service providers that help us run the Site and our business, and only as needed for them to perform their service. These providers have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review:

  • Vercel — website hosting, serverless functions, and privacy-friendly analytics
  • OpenRouter — routing requests for the AI assistant
  • Calendly — scheduling free consultations
  • Web3Forms — delivering contact-form submissions to us by email
  • Google — email, since our address is hosted by Google (Gmail)

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our legal rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a business sale or transfer. We do not sell your personal information.

7. Data Retention

We keep the information you provide only as long as we need it to respond to you, deliver services, and maintain reasonable business records — after which we delete or anonymize it. Server logs that may contain brief chat snippets are short-lived and rotated according to our hosting provider's defaults. Aggregated analytics are retained according to our providers' standard retention periods.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. The Site is served over encrypted HTTPS, and we apply security headers that guard against common risks such as clickjacking and content-type sniffing. We deliberately collect very little data, and we do not process payment-card information on the Site.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we work hard to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Choices and Rights

You can email us at valoroussupport@gmail.com to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to request its deletion. You can also clear stored preferences at any time through your browser settings.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the EU or UK GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) — including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and the right not to be treated differently for exercising those rights. We will honor these requests to the extent they apply to us. Because we do not sell personal information, there is no sale to opt out of.

10. International Visitors

We are based in the United States and work with clients worldwide. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate, which may have data-protection laws different from those in your own country.

11. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Third-Party Links

The Site and the AI assistant may link to third-party websites, such as portfolio demonstration sites or our scheduling tool. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites, so please review their policies before sharing information.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
